If you only added a little, it will run fine: dillution is the solution. You will actually get better gas mileage, because Diesel has slightly more energy per gallon. But don't do it again, because the soot will eventually overload your catalytic converter.

If you put in more than 1 gallon in ten, you're probably going to have to pump it out.

You will trash you fuel system, likely have to replace filters, pumps and likely injectors. And it will all be for nothing because a gasoline powered engine can't burn diesel.
Additionally the station pumps are designed so you can't get a diesel fuel nozzel into a gas engined auto or truck.

If you don't start and drive it you will simply need to drop the fuel tank, drain the contents and refill with GAS. If you have driven it then the whole fuel system is now contaminated and will require flushing, cleaning and new filters installed, possibly new plugs and clean injectors.

If it runs at all, it will run rough and smoke seriously. It wont hurt the engine, but you will have to drain the tank(s), fuels lines, ect and refill with the proper fuel(gasoline)

Not sure what will happened yet, never try it before. Why don't you put in 5 gallons of diesel mixed in with your unleaded fuel then drive it for a few days then let me know. Thanks for asking though!
