I rent a car at $500.00 per month, which includes all gas and insurance and no upkeep charges. Only problem is that I have to change cars every second day. Is this deal worth it or should I go and buy my own car?

I rent a car at $500.00 per month (Canadian Dollars), which includes all gas and insurance and no upkeep charges. Only problem is that I have to change cars every second day. The cars are nice, G6 GT, Grand Prix, Camry, Corolla, Impala, or F150's when needed. Is this deal worth it or should I go and buy my own car?

Are you into crimminal behavior? Ok, just kidding! but seems to me that only a crimminal would want to change cars everyday or 2...otherwise i think it would be great to drive a different car all the time but changing cars that frequently might get old...I don't know that is a very good question you asked there. As for the dollar amount in the long run you probably come out ahead if you are on the road very much. You should give a little more info about that to get the best answer to your question and do you also switch back to the same car or is it always a different car. good question you asked though for sure

For $500.00 per month and including all commodities, its worth it. Accept for the changing cars not worth all that time just to drive around for a couple of days then bring it back then start everything over again..and again next couple of days. What if you needed to drive out of city for two or three days and can't make it back in time to change a new car, are they gonna fined you for late? In my opinion, nothing is better than own your own thing, might not provide all the above convenients but its your to keep and you can drive it as long as you wants!

Buy you own car. That 's sounds like a waste of money to me just to rent. You can have a car payment and insurance for the same amount or even less. Plus you have the freedom of you own car. Do you travel alot? Is the gas an issue?

clearly you are saving money versus owning your own car but what is your time worth to you? If you can afford $500 a month right now there are alot of older model cars that you could easily purchase and insure for the same amount of money. Your call. There is definitely something to be said for having your own car tho, I remember my first piece of crap car an old 65 volkswagen bug, it was ugly but reliable and after all isnt all about getting to the destination?

i mean it worth it in the sense that if you are spending less money then you would if you owned the car... but its not worth it in the sense that you have to be exchanging the car ... its annoying right??? it must be.. its better to buy a car and have something in your name ... you know something to show for you hard work !! there are some good deals out there !!
