I heard that if you wash a car too much you can wash the paint off of it? Is it true.

I know there are LOTS of good abandoned cars out there that are rusting day by day. It's sad IMO. But I'm looking for a good muscle car such as an '69 Camaro, '70 Cuda, '69 Chevelle, etc. to fix up. If anyone knows where i can find abandoned lots, please let me know right away. Thanks.

I drove away with the gas pump in my gas tank. I returned to the gas station and they made me fill out paperwork. I've received a letter from BP that says they will estimate repairs and send me a bill. Does anyone no how much this will cost? I realize it was a stupid move but...geeeezh! The thing had an automatic breakaway feature on it, so there didn't seem to be much damage.

The premium you pay for a car that runs on E85 is more than you will save in fuel costs for the life of the car. It is cheaper just to run gas. (comparing for example Civic gas vs. hybrid at current fuel prices). I guess you have to decide how much the environmental trade-off is worth to you. Any thoughts?

I live on a farm, mice got into the heater ductwork and needless to say things are quite ripe right now. Any suggestions on what will get rid of the smell? Have used Oust and Clorox spray but it keeps coming back.

How do you handle it? How do you react? Tried slowing down to let them pass but they just got nasty.

Hi
Back in the 1970's Germany did all their roadwork’s at night to stop traffic jams. Some roads in particular by-pass roads could be done at night with out causing a nuisance to residents and could be made temporary ready for day time use. Even covering holes with steel sheets hence less traffic jams less pollution less anger and road rage so the money saved from police use etc would cover the extra wages. So has anybody got any idea as to why this not done?

The car was moving at a very slow speed. Under 5 miles per hour. I heard a clicking noise while it was moving but as soon as the car stopped the noise was gone. I checked all the gears and they seem to be fine. The clicking noise is not there anymore either. Do you think the car is okay?

Why not yellow with black stripes or white with black stripes, there would be more light at night. Just think when snow falls and besides the ice that comes with it you can see better. Makes sense to me.
