I live on a farm, mice got into the heater ductwork and needless to say things are quite ripe right now. Any suggestions on what will get rid of the smell? Have used Oust and Clorox spray but it keeps coming back.

I guess I should have added the fact that yes, the critter is gone..and all remnants of it. That was a fun job in itself.

coffee grounds~not used. sprinkle and let sit for a day and vacuum. That is what the perfume counters uses and what we used in our delivery trucks to get rid of diesel odors...good stuff and inexpensive and you probably have it already; no need to run out and buy stuff you already have. makes good sense!
PS is the critter gone? do that first!

I would say body spray from Bath and Body Works...spray it all around the car a few minutes before driving and it should at least cover the smell while you're driving. Even though it's supposed to be like cheap perfume, it's strong enough to cling onto material and stay there. There are lots of flavors too; you aren't limited to flowers and sugar.

Maybe the dead mouse is still inside the ductwork. That smell won't leave until the mouse leaves. Then sprinkle bicarbonate of soda. Let it set awhile. It should absorb the odor.

i've got consistently thought used equipment oil smelled like grimy feet, yet you're able to, or will possibly not use any. what variety of motor vehicle? What shade fluid? and how plenty is leaking? It sounds like a transmission fluid (front seal) that must be equipment oil, or have that comparable scent. all your fluid levels might nicely be checked, even a handbook transmission has provisions for that. hit upon a neighbor who can help. verify all your reservoirs and take a glance at and perceive what's leaking earlier you force.
