The one you can afford

First of all I would suggest that you do not buy a new car. ( go check out daveramsey.com good info as to why not to buy new)
as to what car to buy I would buy a Honda Accord, or a Toyota Camry both are the longest lasting cars around. Go check this out with Consumer Reports. Also both you can get them to look sporty and still be able to grow into a family car. Stay way from sports cars. insurance too high and it is hard to get a car seat into a two door car. You might say i don't have any kids right now, but look how old you are and think of keeping this car for 5-8 yrs and then you'd see you might need a family type car.

honestly, get yourself a cheap car. i only passed my test 4 weeks ago and i have an M reg corsa and its the best thing i have ever bought. the reason being is passing your test is the easy bit, you really learn to drive after. i have nearly had accidents in my car and thank god its not a new one, ill be gutted if i crashed that. driving on your own without an instructor is really scary, honest im going thro it.

I would focus on the test first else you're just asking to fail, but would buy a mini, they keep there value and look great.

Wel it would be a good idea to go for one you can comfortably be seen driving and most importantly afford to run

You'd be better finding out what you can afford to insure first. It would have to be small, with a small low powered engine I'm afraid.
