We just bought a 1978 Goldwing and have some electric problems for our running lights and headlight. Any ideas what we should check? Also, someone messed with the rear lights and the pigtail is too short so it is very difficult to get it in and out. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I am originally from Florida, there it is a crime to drive any vehicle off a lot without insurance. My boyfriend bought a motorcycle here in California and they never mentioned anything to him about it. He was involved in an accident shortly after purchasing the bike and he did not have insurance, can we go after the dealership for not making it a requirement? If of course it's the law in California?

I have an interesting situation. Someone is offering a frame for sale because they are going to use the engine for a chopper. I happen to know for a fact that Texas pays no mind to an engine, just the frame number. However, I believe the other person is convinced that they need to keep the title for proof of ownership on the engine. What should we do. The DMV is closed all weekend. Not sure I can convince him of the law. Does anyone have any web sites to illustrate this for him?

I'm thinking along the lines of a Piaggio Fly 150. If they can't, how are you supposed to back them out of parking spots or whatnot? By walking them out, or what?

Thank you.

I am a student at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. I am doing a presentation on the EPA standards and what Harley Davidson has done to meet them. I am doing a past, present, and future type outline. Any information/help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

The only thing is that I'm like, tiny. I'm only 5 feet tall. My question is, what would be a good make/model of bike for me. I want a "chopper" style, not Harley or crotch rocket style. I need a bike that I can comfortably (and safely) drive! Oh, and something on the less expensive side...thanks!

Overhead cam, and the valve cover bolts looked like Knuckles, so the called it a Knucklehead.
My question is,
What came out before the Knucklehead was it a "flat head?
because I am thinking that was the type.
where can I learn more?

I have an interest in purchasing a motorcycle(s) for street and light to (later on) moderate freeway driving. I say more than one motorcycle since, from what I have read, you start out easy and move on to more powerful bikes later.

Back to the matter at hand, though. I remember riding a semi-automatic ATV that I really enjoyed riding. Changing gears without a clutch was easy for me to grasp and learn and it was darn fun!. However, I am not very comfortable with clutch+gears, possibly due to me trying to learn on a Camero but thats another story. So I ask, have you seen standard motocycles (not sport, not cruisers, not scooters, but, for lack of a better word "regular" motorcycle styles; not forward leaning, but sitting fairly straight up) that have this semi-auto type of transmission that are beginner class (around 250-400cc) and, as a later upgrade, intermediate class (500-600cc)?

Thank you for your time.

How hard is it to change the back tire on this motorcycle? Would it be better to take it to a shop? They want to charge me $212.00 to change it for me. Any info appreciated:)

How does it work. I know one is on the bottom.
After first and you shift up does it become neutral or do you have to click it up two times for second. and does the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th have different position and stay there or it comes back down and you have click up once more to get in a higher gear.

My Kawasaki Versys has an adjustable suspension and is set for an average rider build of 68 kg (150LB) with no passenger and no accessories.

The stock setting varies from front to back, but I am wanting to find out if I should adjust the suspension since I am at 300 lbs before I wear a backpack.

If the front and rear suspension is set for a 150lb guy, clearly it should be adjusted to hold a 300lb guy right?
