My Kawasaki Versys has an adjustable suspension and is set for an average rider build of 68 kg (150LB) with no passenger and no accessories.

The stock setting varies from front to back, but I am wanting to find out if I should adjust the suspension since I am at 300 lbs before I wear a backpack.

If the front and rear suspension is set for a 150lb guy, clearly it should be adjusted to hold a 300lb guy right?

yes, you should adjust it. if you do not you will ruin the suspension, iot will bottom out on a large bump. though to adjustthem, if it is a shock, you must bring it to a garage that adjusts shocks.

At 300# you might even want to consider
stiffer aftermarket springs & shocks.
