The only street legal dual purpose models currently availible in the U.S. are the Honda XR650L, Suzuki DR650SE, DRZ400S & SM, DR200SE, Yamaha XT225, TW200, Kawasaki KLR650 and KLX250S. There are no more 125's any more and the only 250 left is Kawasaki's KLX250S. There used to be a 125 a 250 and 600 availible from any one of the four Japanese manufacturers back in the '80s, what happened to that? I understand why the 2 strokes are gone and don't care for anything smaller than a 250 but I can't figure out why more 400's aren't availible. Each one of the manufactuers offer all sizes of 4 stroke dirtbikes but they aren't street legal. Why?

i had my carb (on my honda custom 250cc) dismantled and cleaned the other day,,, drove it out of the garage, it felt just fine. yesterday it suddenly started stalling evey time i let go of the throttle. i wound up the idle screw to a max and it still was cutting out on idle, but driving fine. this morning started fine at first but then maintaining a stedy grip on the throttle, the engine started reving up then down by its self then stalling after 20-30 seconds,, after five minutes of reving something seemed to give and i mannaged to drive to work ok, if somewhat erratically. now ive gon to start it again and its doing the same thing... what is happening???

She says it's because we can't afford it but that's not really the case. My payment would only be about $99 a month.

When were carburetors last used on sport bikes? Any info on the Buell Firebolt would be helpful as well.
