The CR500 is a 2 stroke and does require mixing 2 cycle oil with the gas. Honda recommends a mixture ratio of 32:1 but you will find out that you will foul spark plug very often at that ratio. It will perform best without fouling as many plugs if you use only top quality 2 cycle racing oil mixed at a ratio of 50:1 but only with top quality racing oil or Mercury Quicksilver outboard boat motor oil. Do not use cheap 2 cycle weedeater and chainsaw oil...

I can say with 95% certainty that you need to. Call a honda shop to confirm or get a manual for the bike. A CR500 is built for racing and 2 stroke race bikes need their oil and gas mixed.

ummm, it's a 2-stroke, and yes you do. 32:1 ratio

a CR500 is a helluva bike, not for the timid. if you know so little about bikes not to know wether it needs pre-mix or not, one has to wonder if you're ready for such a bike? It is pretty old, but still, that bikes gonna make crazy power.
