Carbureted sport bike?

When were carburetors last used on sport bikes? Any info on the Buell Firebolt would be helpful as well.

Carbs are still used on some models, most of the top of the line models went to fuel injection a few years ago. R1 went 2002, gsxr 750 went 1998 cbr929 2000 as you can see its pretty recent trend, and a lot of the first systems gave bad throttle control. Like the original gsxr system was kinda on off. Hell yamahas motogp effort was originally carburated.
