Whats better, blonde's or brunettes? Chevy or Ford? Republicans or Democrats? Your question can't be answered without involving emotion and personal tastes.

Personally, I think one of the most *versatile* is the Polaris X2. The turf mode allows it to turn under the majority of other ATV's on the market, and not tear up the ground. The pick up bed allows you to haul the same thing as a flat rack, and more. It's one of the few *legal* two seaters on the market, while still not handling like a stretch limo.

Beyond that, the majority of the other utilities offer more or less the same features and size. So it comes down to personal preference, dealer support, and well, pricing.

Honda has the best quality control on motorcycles and quads over the top Jap 4
But Yamaha has them beat in utility quads. Very powerful and bullet proof.
As for other manufactures, I can't comment on them because I don't have first hand experience repairing and riding them long term. So I don't know how they hold up.
One I can comment on is Arctic Cat - JUNK

Yamaha Grizzly 700. It has fuel injection and power steering! Awesome ground clearance, very fast, digital speedo, unstopable machine!
