I just replaced my thermostat and I have plenty of coolant in my reservoir. I don't know why coolant is spraying out from under my radiator cap though. What could it be?

I am going to replace my coils (front and rear) as well as shocks on my 1985 Buick Lesabre Collector's Edition. Do I have to take the car in for an alignment when I am done? The replacement process involves removing the front stabilizer and loosening the control arms to slip the front coils out. Also, one sales rep during a quote mentioned a rear alignment (for what reason I do not understand). The only thing holding up the rear end are the shocks, coils push down and keep tension. Nothing else makes contact except the driveshaft. If anyone has knowledge or experience, please post and list your experience/how you know the answer. Thanks.

note - they are 4 way shocks, not struts. Front shocks mount seperately in the coils but are NOT struts.

ok I have an 85 jaguar XJ6 and I need to replace the ignition... thing... the part I have to buy is called the ignition lock assembly. But I have no idea what the part is that the ignition sets in. Does it set directly in the car? Because all I see now is a bunch of wires and it looks like if I get that part put on it will be hanging there. Do I need another part or what??? lol

I was leaning towards getting the k&n oil filter or the factory mopar filter. If anybody knows any other filters that are good or better then the two i named, get at me.

The last time I changed my oil filter I evidently forgot to grease it. It is not coming off easy. Is there a way to remove an ungreased filter? Or are there any products to help with this issue? My oil filter wrench is ineffective due to the location of the filter.
Please help!!!

I drove {my 2003 4WD Ranger} 200 miles on a trip, arrived home, and the next day, my front wheel bearing started making a TERRIBLE racket, and had to be replaced. There was no sign of any problem on my trip. Isn't there usually more warning that a wheel bearing is starting to go? Is there any reason why one would go out at 89,000 miles? What about the other bearings....are they likely to go out soon, too? Is there anything else to look out for?

I had a mechanic look at my brakes about a month ago and he said they were still in pretty good shape. He said they were squeaking just because they arent the highest quality parts. The squeaking seems to get better, another person said I have about 75% left which I'm assuming is for the rotors? Is it normal for the brakes to keep making noise or should i just change the pads.

The fluid is clear and has no smell to it, it is coming from the front right side of the car and it is not coming from anywhere around the tire, and my air condition wasn't on, the fluid is a little greasy but has no smell, and it was a big puddle, I wanted to see if it was still leaking later on that night so I moved my car to a different part of the driveway and a little came out but not nearly as much as the first leak I noticed.
Can anyone tell me what it could be? And is it safe to drive?

1995 Buick Century... Car is fine, but when we turned it iff the back brake lights stayed on. We had to dis-connect the battery to get them off so as not to run the battery down. But what could be making them stay on?
