I'm asking this question because my husband is one of them. People complain about how much space they use on the road, and how they need lots of room to turn. They get the goods to the stores so you can buy them. Trains, boats, and plains can only go so far and it's the truck drivers who actualy get them to the department stores. I'm asking people to give them a little respect and yeild to them on the road when needed. Some truck drivers abuse there right on the road I agree, but there are the few that drive by the rules. Do you think that the goverment should also notice truck drivers and help them out by asking them questions about how the law applies to them and what they can do to help make it easier for them to get the help from the labourboard when needed?
Please only responces that are positive please.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I have just passed my test. At my work we have a 3.5T Luton van. My query is whether this is a category B1 or if it is a C1. I think it is B1 and anything above 3.5T up to 7.5T is C1.

Alternative = something that isn't an automobile.
yes ,I am an american I live in Georgia.
Why don't the goverments support high speed rail, commute rail, water taxis, etc ??
too much traffic, too much pollution.

I am looking for a way for my computer to help me find the best gas prices between two points about 70 miles apart. I have found gadgets for google and other websites that can access gas prices from a single zipcode but that's not very travel friendly?

If it matters, I am travelling between Lufkin TX and Cleveland TX primarily on US Hwy 59 on a regular basis.

Thanks!

I live at the end of a 1/4 mile private driveway with five other homes. The driveway was originally built for access to a 200 foot radio tower in the 40's which is still in use. Many years ago the city built a very large water tower on the drive and at that time paved the road. Due to lack of maintenance the road fell apart and was eventually demolished by the city and graveled. This was nearly 20 years ago before I moved into my home. Also located on the road is a city gas main building. These structures are accessed by the city monthly if not weekly. My neighbors and I have always split cost of road maintenance with some help from the radio station whose tower is located along the drive. The city does not cinder or plow the road in the winter. My question is should the city be responsible for maintaining this road? Does the paving at one time by the city show admittance of maintenance responsibility for utilities that are valuable to all the public?
