This is only gonna work if you have a van. I know it's not a common ride for most people, but I had that happen, and here is how I dealt with it. (Helps if you got lots of junk in the van.)

I pulled onto the shoulder, popped out of the seat like a jack-in-the-box, found an old tool box. Emptied out the box, did the rotating spray nozzle thing in the box, then grabbed an old rag and cleaned up. Put the rag in the tool box, and ditched the whole thing at the next gas station.

I was back on the road in less than five minutes. No messy seat, and lots more comfy than I was.

Keep a plastic bag in the car near you at all times and put it underneath your bottom when this hits you. It will prevent it from messing up the car.
