I don't exactly know the miles, but it takes me about an hour to commute to school or vice-versa. If it is heavy traffic it will take an hour and a half. Since i'm living in the Philipines, yeah, it's really quite expensive, especially if you took a taxi home.

I drive 50 miles each way. I travel a lot so actually it is 50 miles to work and 50 miles home the next day. A round trip costs me about $12. But my income for that is enough that I don't even miss gas money. If it went up tp $5.00 a gallon I might be concerned. $10 a gallon and I would be hurting.

From where I live it's under 10 miles round trip. I pay for the gas at the gas station that's the cheapest near my home & usually have the money to pay for it without needing to whip out a credit card or debit card.

I'm blessed - I only live about 8 miles away, but it takes me 15 - 20 minutes due to traffic. I pay for the gas out of my own pocket - nope, not invading anything - especially not my budget!

It takes me 8 -10 minutes to drive the 4 miles depending on traffic. It's a lot of stop and go around here. I drive a Toyota so I don't really have to worry about gas milage...Toyotas Rock! I buy gas like every 3 weeks.

My commute is in low rolling hills not more than fifteen minutes each way unless every stoplight is red. I'm fueling
every three days at about two dollars a hit using Shell Premium only. This includes the new Lawnboy pulling me
around the house. I own pre-paid 12 month pass for city public transportation but use it less than a dozen days yearly.
Ditto, Yellow Cab. I've walked but that is 150 minutes one way. Bicycle works out to about 45 minutes & none too safe.

Well it depends on traffic how long it takes me, but usually it takes about 50 minutes to get to work and about 35 miles. I drive a company truck so the company pays for my gas.

mine is really great i am 5 miles round trip & it only takes 5 min. really good for me. but my husband makes up for it ,he is a sales rep & he put @ 50K on a vehicle a year & yes we pay for the gas. it really sucks too. he is due a promotion somtime this quarter & then he gets a company gas card & that will be a raise in its self. i sure hope it comes through befor we have the- summer- way over priced gas!!

It takes me twenty minutes each way and it's about twelve miles. I can't complain about the gas because there is a free bus that leaves every half hour and takes twenty five minutes. I take that when I don't have a lot of other chores to do.

Approx 10-15 minutes, 4 miles, all on surface streets, at a time of day when traffic is usually not an issue.
