It says that it's owned by Aol now and now I'm having trouble getting anywhere in regards to maps. They apparently insist on using federal highways to get anywhere. Mapquest used to always have good maps now today when I tried to use it insisted on using a federal highway.

I"m sure you have encountered this somewhere. you get some old blue hair in the twelve item or less lane at the store with way more items than the lane allows. They are counting pennies out that they have been saving from like 1922, or trying to use using coupons for something they don't even have. why is this allowed? how can it be stopped? they gotta cut the crap.

Is there any reason for the name of a traffic route being called a street, avenue or a road.
For example : london street, london road, london avenue what would be the difference in apperance or use.

Rush hour traffic doesn’t have to be stressful. If you focus on your favorite music or audio book, the traffic ahead suddenly doesn’t seem so bad. Tell us how you keep your balance during your commute.

Stuck in traffic for 2.75-4 hours everyday, but the money is the only motivation that my job offers. Is this too much time dealing with traffic or should i start looking for a new family docotor job? If i applied for a job near home, it would result in a $30,000 reduction because therer are so many medical centers here.

salary = $150,000 a year and maybe overtime, if you put that in perspective

thank you

I asked a question about my husband being an ice road trucker. For one of you who said it's summer, no ice. No ****!!! Winter will be here soon he needs to know now. For EVAN - Wanna be my ***!!! My husband has driven truck for about 20 years. We live in the rockies he drives everyday, he was an over the road driver for about ten of those years, I think he knows a little bit about trucks. So get off your high horse and get a life! There are other people out there who are as you say "professional truckers" too. You aren't the only one.

So you're rubber-necking at accidents, slowly meandering down the road, or zooming on the shoulder at 90 MPH, or desperately trying to comprehend the driving laws. Red means stop and green means go. You can't seem to find that middle ground between that all driving laws are for your own good or that all driving laws are meant to ruin your life.

Do you realize that you're a bad driver for whatever reason? That you're as old as the Paleothic period or as stupid as a pet rock or as scared as that duck from Garfield & Friends or that you have emotional problems that you need meds and psychotherapy for because otherwise you're a sick-in-the-head little misanthropic sadist who punishes humanity for something that happened when you were a child or a lovely combination of the above reasons?

Do you even realize that you're a bad driver who should give up your driver's license since it's not a right, it's a privelege, and you don't deserve one

"Hoboken to Stamford weekdays, there are a few people like me who commute from Jersery City/Hoboken/Newark and other parts of New Jersey to Stamford,CT. So there is a strong need for a express train from Hoboken Terminal to Stamford,CT. This will enable all of New Jersey residents to commute and work in Stamford,CT and other parts of CT. Currently my commute is so tiresome, i take the JSQ PATH to 33rd( b$1.20), walk and take Yellow subway train to Times SQ ($2), walk and take shuttle train to Grand central, walk in grand central and take MTA to stamford ($12.25) which is very tiresome, so please put a train as soon as possible". This is the complaint i put in MTA website and they replied that they can't do it. I want to know if i can give a petition to anybody like the mayor, governer, minister of railways, even president of america, i want to know the process. Is there a way i can contact organizaations and get them to write a letter with all the signatures of people

I travel from the Western Chicago suburbs to metro-Detroit about twice a month, and it takes about 4 1/2 hours, but I can sit in stop-and-go traffic at that border for an hour. There isn't even any construction there! Does anyone know why these people can't just merge onto the freeway? I usually don't drive during rush hour. Most of my problems happen on the way back through Indiana to Chicagoland. At 6 o'clock on a Sunday, the freeway is jammed. I would really appreciate if anyone could suggest an alternate route so that I can stop tearing out my hair. Thanks!

I recently moved. I drive my Pontiac Pursuit to work, and it gets decent mileage. It takes about the same time for me to get to work as at my old commute. So I was shocked today to find out the distance is about 15% shorter. I figure the extra time is due to more stops and starts, more traffic lights, more traffic and slower speed limits.

With the same drive time but 15% less distance what theories or estimated changes do you expect in my fuel expenses. (example: Will they drop 15%, 10%, 5%, same or increase? If gas prices stay constant)
