I am having a problem w/ the heat in my '02 Grand Am GT. It doesn't work on 1, 2 or 3. It only works on 4 and 5. Could this be the fan or the switch? I either am really warm or freezing when I am driving because the heat won't work in 1, 2, 3. Any suggestions what it could be?

My 2003 Pontiac GrandAm does nothing when I try to start it. It doesnt click or anything. The lights and everything work good so not the battery. Its like its not picking up a signal to start. It has 78000 miles. Ive checked the fuses and checked for any loose wires. The started has been tested and is good. Any suggestions? Please help.

I know it's not coolant. We get a wet floor when it rains, any recommendations for sealing the firewall as that seems to be where the water is coming in. Have been told that low compression foam would work to seal anything but am unsure.

i lost the original master key to my 2005 pontiac grand prix and have purchased a new key but dont have the program to the key to the car. i really dont want to pay a 65.00 towing fee and a 85.00 programming fee if i can help it. So if anyone has the program for the 2005 Grand Prix i sure would appreciate your assistance.

Hi! We're trying to find a ski rack for our 2006 Pontiac vibe, but our dealerships say that they are no longer available. I've looked on many websites, but can only find aftermarket! Anyone know how to find one that's not aftermarket or how to contact Pontiac directly? We've already tried Ebay.

They're fast sports cars, however, they don't have no flash look to them like RX-7, RX-8, Celica, Acura RSX, Supra, Corvette. They look like a Aerodynamic raindrop going forward. Pontiac needs to redesign the Trans Am and give it more flash...it looks awful!

I have a Pontiac GTO and it doesn't have any special mount or spot for a front license plate. I am going to move to another state where I need a front plate, but I don't want to drill any holes into the front of my car. Is there a special type of bracket that would attach underneath or through the grill of my car so I wouldn't have to do any permanent damage to it?

Tires were balanced doesn"t seem to be any play in the front end but vibration is still there. wheel bearings were checked out and they were good

My car began overheating yesterday. I filled up w/ coolant/water. I then drove it home smoothly. This morning, the temp started creeping up. I waited afew hrs, & checked beneath the car to find coolant dripping out. I filled it up, as i don't have enough money for an engine diagnostic right now, don't have a mechanic i trust, and couldn't afford the repairs anyway. Less than 2 minutes later, the steering became difficult and the engine sounded jerky & strained. I parked the car to find smoke steaming out of the passenger side, near the front of the hood. I checked under the hood. It was the engine smoking, nowhere near the radiator. I got in the car & drove as slowly as possible back to work. Yesterday, when I sped up, the air would cool the engine. Today, the faster I went, the hotter the engine got. Once parked, the smoke started up again. It did not smoke as I drove, and smells like burning coolant. Pls tell me this is something I can attempt myself, I can't afford repairs :/ Thnx

Car: 2000 Trans Am w/ the ws6 Ram Air Package. 5.7L V8 LS1 engine, puts out 320HP. Automatic Transmission. claims 17 city mpg/25 highway mpg.

My main question is, I've heard the K&N increases both horsepower and miles per gallon. I know every engine is different, etc., but what kind of gains can be expected and does it actually work for the $65. Also, would the gains, if any, be noticeable around town, or just racing?

Also, how much maintenance is it to clean, and if its so great for only $65, why didnt GM just install it themselves? seems like it'd be worth it to advertise better power and fuel efficiency. What are the downsides and tradeoffs?
