They're fast sports cars, however, they don't have no flash look to them like RX-7, RX-8, Celica, Acura RSX, Supra, Corvette. They look like a Aerodynamic raindrop going forward. Pontiac needs to redesign the Trans Am and give it more flash...it looks awful!

I agree that many base Firebirds and Camaros don't stand out, especially the '82 - '92 models.
However, my black 2000 Trans Am WS6 is anything but unnoticeable. Take for example the complex form of the rear window, it has both concave and convex glass surfaces. The "Ram Air" hood scoops extend on the air intakes in the front bumper, forming creases that flow back across the length of the hood. Look closely at the muscular front and rear fenders, the the curve radius there is much tighter than most any car out there.
I can't drive through town without several people turning to look at my car.
I bought it because I think it's a beautiful car, and where I live, many people agree with me.

They are two different cars. The Trans Am came with the dog 301 all the way up to the 455. The Fiero did have the V6, so not bad. The Fiero will be cheaper on isnurance, and better on gas. I think 1988 was the last year, and if that is the case, then that is the best Fiero they made. 87 wasnt bad. To find a Trans Am that is worth it, you will pay for it. Remember the age of the car, and think about rust. both are old, but 10 years newer might be worth it. Course the TA has a back seat, the Fiero does not. Plus you can put a 455 in the Fiero, and it isnt that hard... LOL

Are you guys on drugs? The Trans Am is not styled after a ricer japanese car like your RX-7,RX-8,Celica, RSX,and Supra. Its syled after the original Trans Ams. The new TAs look way more agressive than them. Oh yeah, let me just say this.... TTops and 350 hp stock. Catch us if you can.

The reason they were designed this way was because they wanted to keep the legacy that they made when they first introduced the car. It is true that the looks aren't for everyone, but these cars were built for the few people that knew what they wanted. A FAST CAR WITH V8 MUSCLE AND A THROATY RUMBLE. That's the reason why they didn't change them to some weird looking odd ball shaped funny looking car.

Trans Ams have been discountinued for over 4 years now. Some people like understated speed. It's all personal taste.

i have a 1995 Pontiac Transam and it is fast and also has great lines. and my car gets alot of attention and people ask the year and are very intrested in the car. saying it looks awful is your opinion and you could keep it to your self next time because there would be alot of people to disagree with you.
