$15-25 depending on the type pads you buy and do it yourself.
If, the Rotors are damaged it will cost $50-100 each for them if you replace or about $10 each if you have them "Turned".

I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix and the Pontiac dealership wanted to change me about $230 for the front brake pads yesterday. Only the pads, the rotors were fine. I went and bought them myself for $25 and will learn how to replace

Let me ask you this??? What kind of brake pads did you use??? Did you use the good ones from GM dealership(Not the cheaper ones either) or did you get the cheapest ones at your local autoparts store??? Those cheaps from the parts store plainly SUCK!!!!!!!! Never use that crap, get the good ones from GM dealership ($100.00) I thin but you dont have any issues with noise from them. Also, have the rotors turned if enough thickness is left to turn them As for using the brakes, me, I always slam on the brakes. Does tend to make the rotors get warmer & tend to warp more quickly but I have access to a brake lathe so I am not worried about brake pulsation.

Midas, Pepboys, Jiffy lube,,are always advertising,,89.99 including turning rotors. If you can do it your self or know a friend that can AND the rotors are in good condition,,,25.00 or less,,,If you need rotors turned because of groves in them,,Autozone or O'Reilys charges around 10-15 dollars each rotor,,,so 20 or 30 dollars for both,,,Some Autozones & O'Reilys do it for free if you purchase the brake pads at their store.

i work for gm, pontiac. we charge $129.95 installed. (that's parts and labour) they have a lifetime warranty as long as you own the car, (but only if they are installed at the dealership.) if the rotors need to be machined we charge $36.00 extra to machine the front 2.
