I can drive in about a year and I really want an Xterra. Some people say it wont be safe for a new driver, its too tall. What do you think?

Can anyone suggest me few ideal tires for Nissan Maxima 2003 car with dimensions 215/55/R17. I need to get couple of tires replaced. I checked the price of the tires. Each tire costs me around $150.00.
Can I go for 17 inch tires with different dimensions which are inexpensive? My budget is between $150-$200 for 2 tires.

Just thought I might get some help on here. As stated in the question, my 93 altima repeatedly stalls (at random I might add about 2-3 times a day). On the freeway, city streets. Sometimes it may be after 1 minute after a cold start, other times its after 50 mins of 70mph driving on the freeway. RPM drops to zero and takes about a good 15-20 tries to get it started again. Timing chain is fine. Fuel pressure is fine, the distributer assembly was replaced with a new one (in the hopes that it would fix the problem but not much luck), fuel pump was replaced about a year ago, spark plugs are about a year old. I've taken it to 2 mechanics and both are stumped. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

I did not drive my Nissan vehicle since 2 months bcoz I am waiting for my warranty to be transferred from the previous owner and I need this warranty to get my Strut Bearings and the Thermostat replaced. I have contact numbers of about 10 representatives and I tried to contact them regularly. They neither answer my call nor do they call me back even after I leave my message in their voice mail. Weather conditions are pretty bad here. It's really pathetic and I am tired of this Bu..Sh.. I paid $1000 for this warranty to the previous owner and now, I waited for 2 months without driving. My battery is dead now. I don't know what to do. I feel like SUING them now. Please let me know your suggestions.

I just bought a used 01 xterra and I'm looking into getting bigger tires for it, however I have no clue what to look for. I would like something like my husband has on is 01 Ironman Amigo (BF Goodrich All terrain 30's)... but I want as little modification as I can possibly get in order to get bigger tires. Other then that, the truck is completley stock. Thanks for any help.

Okay. Here's the deal. When I accelerate quickly (i.e., to get on the freeway or pass up someone)...there's a 90% chance that my truck will start cutting out on me. First, everything in the dash will freeze and the odometer would disappear. Then the truck starts cutting out. The gas peddle has nothing but slack...until it gets around 45 miles an hour. Once I can give it more gas, it'll start going faster until I'm at about 50 mph...and it starts cutting out again. It'll keep doing this for about 10 minutes. After that, everything comes back on like nothing ever happened. Everything else works: radio, headlights, windows, etc... What could be causing this?

My friend found a Nissan 200SX and he is interested in buying it and fixing it up. I don't want to see him disappointed later on down the line when it isn't as fast as he wanted it to be.
