My friend found a Nissan 200SX and he is interested in buying it and fixing it up. I don't want to see him disappointed later on down the line when it isn't as fast as he wanted it to be. I'm not very educated on Nissans so I thought I would ask you guys. Can you do any engine swaps like you can with the 240SX or anything like that??

There are engine swaps for a 200 but they can get pricey. Now if your buddy wants a car he modify and blend in with all the rest go honda or acura. The car he really needs to find is a 240 better built more options and ultimately more fun!

Not much, without a lot of money and an engine swap. There's not much to go on with that vehicle. It doesn't have the bones, so to speak. I would look for something along the lines of an Acura Integra if you want to go the route of modifying for performance.

200SX without an engine swap is pretty worthless. you can put some of the silvia motors in it.
