I wanna know what is the biggest japanese motor that i can put into my nissan 200sx and the one that can be modified the most with performance part.

The motor that comes in the 200SX is pretty strong, SR20DE. Unless it's completely ragged out I would not suggest scrapping it. The SR20 is possibly the strongest four cyl. ever made. If your looking for big numbers and straight line performance the 200SX is not the car for you. The car has good potential as a autocross or circuit car. There are a lot of performance mods available for the SR20 motor. Do some research, check out Sport Compact Car's website they had a 200SX as a project car once. There are tons of Nissan forums and sites out there, check them out. The car may not be the best looking on the road, but you can definitely make a sleeper out of it. GOOD LUCK!!

if your going jdm their are lots of options, biggest is such a bad word you mean most powerful 1st opt is sr20det which has about 5 or six variations you will require a bluebird or pulsar gtir which are fwd 2nd sr20ve which is similar to Honda's vtec setup 3rd sr16ve also similar to Honda's vtec setup . all engines above increase your horsepower and require modifications to fit properly ...

You could fit in an RB25DET/RB26DETT engine - bigger base if you want to modify the engine.
