Until you have to spend $600 for a brake job (front rotors will probably be too thin to cut - $175 each plus brake job cost) and new tires at 25K miles and a new clutch (over$1000 best case scenario aftermarket or factory) at 35k miles if you have a lead foot (automatic 350z's no transmission issues - but they're no fun). Not a practical car if you are in school and have to work during the duration of your education to get by. Those maintenance bills will hurt you. But it's a great car otherwise.

I have a 350Z.Yes,it is fun to leave everyone way behind at the traffic light. It is fun to see how the torque makes the difference between your car and the others. Is it practical?hmmm, i don't know what to say about that.Z is the "missing"link between everyday car and race car.As a matter of fact it's more of a race car.So if you think going on a long trip with a Z,having a lot of luggage, well it's not so practical.Answer this question first, and then you have the answer for your question.oh, the question:"what do you expect from a sport car?"PS:driving this car(mine has 6speed MT)gives you a lot of satisfaction

Not at all! Its more of a second car for fun when you already own a car. Honda Civic or Accord is practical, Nissan Altima or maxima or sentra is practical. 2-seater vehicle, no space. Not good. But if you are looking to have a good time driving the car then go for it!

It all depends on where you live and how far you drive... as an over all car no it is not practical
A. no back seat
B. poor gas mileage
C. attracts attention of cops
D. rear wheel drive (horrible in inclimate weather)
E. Car has more blind spots than a box with no windows
F. Way to fun to be practical
(I drive a 240sx with 345hp) so i don't have room to talk because my car is even less practical than the Z.
