I have a 2003 civic lx,just had it 3 months,it hsa 56000 on it, my emissions light is on,been to a dealer they checked the codes they fixed some wiring and said it was ok,but when I picked it up after hours the light came back on. the question i have has anybody had this light on before and what is the most common problem? furthermore would you go back to the dealer and have the run it again at their expense?

It ran rough for a few days then would not start all together. Checked the plugs and there was no spark while cranking. Any ideas as to the cause?

I bought a civic ex coupe about 4 and 1/2 months ago and one of the back speakers sounds like crap already. It has this horrible rattle to it even at low volume. I did get the honda care warranty but i dont know if it will cover it.

My SRS light turned on today on my 01 Civic with 95k. the car is a one owner car and has never been in a wreck. I am worried this is going to cost a fortune to fix. Any ideas on the problem or how much dealer will charge for diagnosis and repair.

2001 Honda Civic with only 21,000 miles

No problems with the car until recently when I've noticed I really have to push down on the gas to get it to accelerate. I can hear the engine kind of struggling, too, especially on an incline. Ride is not as smooth, either. No recent maintenance except for oil change.

Could it be the fuel system needs to be cleaned? TiresPlus todl me they could do it for $89.99, but I'm hesitant to pay for something that might not necessarily be the root of the problem. I wish there was a way to get someone to physically look at the fuel injection without charing me $50 for a "diagnostic engine" test. What's my best bet? I heard Autozone does a free engine scan...

I just had my car serviced a new engine put in but as I left the shop I stopped for something to eat and as I was driving my car was spewing out white smoke on the way there. After I finished up and tried to start it again my car just wouldn't start.

My spedometer works when it wants to the light around the D when I put it in drive is blinking (on the dash) and when I slow down to stop it is surging....I took it the electrical mechanic and he said it was in the transmission and the transmission guy said that it was eletrical and neither one fixed it or even tried....My husband and the guy at the parts place seem to think it is the speed sensor or the idol control?! anyone ever had this problem before?! HELP?!

It sounds like it is coming from the rear tire area. There doesn't seem to be any uneven wear on the tires and it doesn't affect handling or driveablity. It's like a low whumping sound that gets faster paced the faster I drive until it's like a steady low hum on the highway. What could it be?

I put an octane booster addative in my car and my check engine light came on about 20 minutes later. I added the instructed amount. I have a scanner to check it but cannot find the connection

Sunday the 12th I shifted it in and out of park and moved it. Monday the 13th CAN not shift it out of park for the life of me. I have no idea I did no work on it other then change a brake light bulb.

Will start but wont idle. Changed the fuel cleaned the plugs. new oil. it will run at high rpms and there is some pretty good black smoke.
