well the starter is under the throttle
which is also part of the intake
which you would have to remove to get to the starter

the starter is on the left (driver's side) of the engine. Just follow the positive battery cable down to the end any you'll be at the starter.

you will need to take off the left front exhaust pipe to remove the starter. be sure to disconnect the oxygen sensor connector prior to dropping the front exhaust pipe or you'll damage the wire. you don't need to remove the O2 sensor, just disconnect it..

with a lift and air tools the job should take about an hour.
