The car is in excellent, working condition. The engine is smooth and clean like it was a show car. Electrical systems are in perfect working order. Nothing about this vehicle is defective. Giving you the god honest answer..... SALVAGED TITLE... This vehicle was totaled by accident or vandalism or worst fire, flooding... remember the saying if its too good to be true ....right thats the case here.. pay the money for a carfaxed used or a new car... remember vehicles that have been in accidents like that never truly come back to how they used to ride, reliability becomes an issue and like another person in this thread said,, you lose 50 to 75% of the vehicles value.. Is your life really worth that. This same vehicles airbags might not deploy come another big accident.. just my .02 .. bye

Something is very wrong!

That price is about 1/2 of wholesale. He could take it to any dealer and they would pay his price if the car and title were right.

Either it is a rebuilt salvage, or a scam!

One thing that stands out. If the tires have 75% tread left and the car has 27k miles, this would mean that the tires should last over 100k miles and we all know that is not correct!

It sounds like a fair price I payed $4,700 for my 2000 ex coup that had almost 100,000 miles on it and all my car friends say it still sound and feels like it runs very strong. Just to be sure ask the guy if he would be willing to take it to a mechanic of your choice to have it looked at. At least then you would know if the car is still good or not. You pay $4,450 then have to drop another $1,500 for a new engine because the person raced it and the engine is going to give. I'm just saying make sure you are not getting riped off give it a good test drive too.

RUN!!!! this type of vehicle with this price can only mean 1 thing--- REBUILT VEHICLE. This vehicle was probably totaled out in an accident and rebuilt back to "pre accident" condition. Problem is is that based off of the actual value of the vehicle, this car must have been really messed up before it was rebuilt to look the way it does now as vehicles are totaled out usually with the damages = 75% of the value or more.
