Are they tough? Can they take a beating of bass? Will they last?

And is 180 wats pretty good, like are they going to be louder than my stock infiniti speakers?

I know thats a bunch of random questions. I'm just curios.

Thanks

I have a 2003 Toyota Tundra with a 6 disk CD player, factory stereo. I have all 6 CDs in and "ERROR" now appears on the screen, the cds won't play, and will not eject. I have had this problem for 2 days and have not been able to get them to do anything. I don't see a pin hole anywhere to "eject" the disks. Any ideas? Is my stereo broken?

I'm still debating whether or not to buy a remote car starter. It would cost somewhere around $350. I really don't need it, but would just like it. Any suggestions? Sould I still do it?

does anyone know the procedure for removing/replacing the small speakers out of the front of a 2000 Jeep grand Cheroke? These are approx 3" in diameter located on the dash against the front windshield. I'm not sure if I have to take the glovebox out etc or pop the wire mesh off the speaker and go in from the top.

So I've never subscribed to Satellite radio before and I just know that it costs $15 a month or so for a subscription. Can anyone tell me what sort of stations (and how many) are included in the $15 per month package. Any sort of "general" knowledge would be appreciated.

I built a speaker box out of particle board and was wondering if ordinary black paint would stick to it without flaking off, or is their another type of paint that is better (maybe a certain name brand)

I have a Dual XDVD710 in my truck. It was working fine until I installed my subwoofers/amps in the truck. After about a week or two of making the rear window flex and my windshield wipers bounce on the glass, I can't get my cd's to eject. It pulls them in fine with no problem, but it's tricky to get one out. Sometimes it comes out just far enough so I can grab it and pull it out. I know I should'nt do this, and under normal operation I would'nt... but it's the only way I can get it out right now.

I also know the Dual brand is cheap but come on, it should've lasted longer than this. Only reason I got the Dual is because its so affordable.

have a Legacy LA1088 4-Channel 2000 Watt Bridgeable Mosfet Amplifier and i'm wondering, if i was going to only hook up 2 subwoofers, how would i go about getting all 2000 watts to those speakers, well not all 2000 but i mean (2X1000 watts per channel?)and if i was going to do that what should the speakers RMS be? well what should the rms be period if i was still only hooking up 2 speakers,is there anyway also to hook up those 2 speakers on all 4 channels? and if so how should i go about seeing what the RMS the speaker should have when i shop.... if you have any information or diagrams that picture hooking up 2 subs on 4 channels, and/or how to hook it up and get all the power of the amp on the 2 channels, that would help, please share! it would be greatly appreciated!

I didn't use the changer for a month because I have to transfer it to my other car. When I finally installed it, It works fine, can read CD's but then I receive Very little sound from my receiver. I get no error messages from receiver. The changer used to work fine before. Do you think it has something to do with the lens? Or does it deteriorated because of not using it for too long?

2001 Ford Escort ZX2. It has one of those built-in (I'm guessing it came that way originally) combination radios/cd players (Kenwood, if that helps) where you detach the faceplate and take it with you...apparently to prevent theft. Is that such a necessity to take it off every time...do people really steal 'faceplates' that much on an alarmed car? Anyway...back to my question. After I do take the faceplate off...in the bottom right corner of the indentation it goes in...there is a little red blinking light of some sort. It 'pulses' every...maybe 3-5 seconds. Including when the car is off. What is this thing and what is it's purpose, exactly? Doesn't hurt anything...and such a little light I know of course wouldn't affect such a huge car battery unless it sat for a very long time like that. I just...don't know what it is. Does everybody else's do that, and why is it there to start with? Thanks...

I recently bought a used car. When I listen to music in it though both the front and the rear speakers on the left side make no sounds whatsoever, even when I fade the music all the way to the left. I know that they are most likely blown but could it be anything else? And how much would it cost to fix it roughly?
