You can do 3 or 5 channel.


3 if you only need right, left and a sub.

5 if you want quadraphonic sound plus a sub.

It depends on how you wire them. You could use all 4 speaker leads for your speakers, and the rca leads for the sub. This seems like the most logical if you do not have an amp for your speakers. If you do, then you will need 2 channels, left and right, going to the speakers, and if you have 4 channel amp, you may be able to bridge the other two for the sub. Depends on your equipment. Info on what you are running is necessary to judge this.

You would need a 4.1 setup.
