anyone know how to get around the parking brake wire on car tv installations?

what to do with the wire so that the tv will play when car is in drive.

you have to take that wire and ground it to something a bolt and piece of metal but make sure before u grond it that you sand all the paint of the spot that you are grounding it to. good luck

Various manufacturers use various systems that require various methods to bypass. Newer units are becoming more and more difficult to bypass easily. Hopefully manufacturers are realizing that if too many idiots kill people while trying to drive and watch a movie, video players in the front of the vehicle will end up being outlawed altogether.
