So I've never subscribed to Satellite radio before and I just know that it costs $15 a month or so for a subscription. Can anyone tell me what sort of stations (and how many) are included in the $15 per month package. Any sort of "general" knowledge would be appreciated.

They have literally every type of music you could want. I have satellite and it well worth the money. Once you've got it, you will not go back.

What kind of Satellite Radio service did you sign up for? My boyfriend has Sirus, being an avid listener to Howard Stern. I also am getting a new car in a couple of weeks and plan on getting Sirus installed. I love the country station and the hit station. You never hear the same song twice in the same day like you would on normal radio, so songs don't become over played and annoying. There are a lot of great news and sports stations also. I believe XM just merged with Sirus, so it might not matter what kind you have. There are a ton of stations, from every music genre. Hit List, 90's, 80's 70's, all the way to jazz and joke stations. I believe it is a really good investment.

You can go to either Sirius or XM and see the channel list. They are both extensive and cover pretty much the complete music scene. In additon, they each have other types of entertainment. XM has Opie & Anthony and Oprah. Sirius has Howard Stern and Martha Stewart. You can do better than the $15 per month if you pay a year at a time. Even less for second and third sets in the same family. If you have a family member who has one or the other, get on their plan and pay them.

I have subscribed to xm for nearly a year. I love it. There are several different music stations. I only pay $13 a month, but to me it's worth it to have commercial free radio. I travel long distance alot, so having the choice of over 100 stations wherever I am is alot better then being limited to local stations.

last time i checked, Sirius Satellite Radio gives you roughly 125 channels of music, talk, sports, comedy, etc.
typically 7-14 channels of each genre
definately worth picking up, you get to hear music well before it hits mainstream culture

look in to this HD RADIO don't have that many stations but there is no comercials and it is free you only pay for the radio

If you go to www.sirius.com you can view the entire channel lineup. I love it. They have music with no commericals and a bunch of comedy stuff as well as news and talk.

Is it XM or Sirus? i have xm. i get maybe 100 music channels maybe 10 good ones. for me atleast . plush you get new and comedy. weather all kind of stuff. xm satellite radio rocks!!

I've had X-M for three years...
Its the best.....
There are more conservative talk shows on X-M ..
then the other...
