I am thinking of buying these: Kenwood 50W x 4 CD Deck with front aux input ( I want input to conect my Sirius Stiletto 10) With Sub output

Also the sub: Alpine 10" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer
with Continuous Power Handling 200W
Peak Power Handling 600W

And a AMP: Rockford Punch 300W Class AB Bridgeable 2-Channel Amplifier with Variable Crossovers
Peak of 600W @ 4 ohms
Cont of 200w @ 4 ohms

All I would do is put in deck, and plug in a wire in the sub out plug, and on that wire first would go the amp (under my seat) then right from amp, to the Sub? Am I correct? Will it work?

What do I need? I can finaly drive. I got a f-250 2001, supercab. The last guy put in speakers, and he had a sub and all that stuff. I will have a friend instal,, but I don't want to ask him these questions.
I want sirius. I now have a stiletto 10, (portable sirius radio) If first of all, the truck does not have a deck. When buying one, do I get one that says sirius ready? or can I just get one with a input, so I can just plug in my potable sirius? What numbers do I look for on the Deck? (i will go to best buy, maybe ebay) I want a sub, nothing to loud, I am not a rap listener, I am heavy metal kinda guy, lol. I dont want to spend no more than $350.

oh yeah! It's a truck, where do I put my sub? I want all my seats.

I have a coustik 320QE amp installed in my car. All worked fine until yesterday, my subs were not working and the amp was in protection mode.(Red LED light.) I tinkered with it and read the manual and found out that one of the speaker wires was loose from the terminal. I retightened it and all was well. Turned the car off and went to bed. I got in the car this morning and they were not working again. Checked the amp and it was in protection mode, so I jiggled the speaker wire and it cut right in. Why is everything okay until I turn my car off and then the amp goes into "protection" mode again? Thanks I have double and triple checked all the wires and fuses and I can't find anything else that could be a problem.

I have a mono sub (400rms) and i have a mono amp (345rms) is this not enough power to handle the subs?
I am trying to get my system installed also (i have a cap, 2 amps 4 channel and 2 channel) that needs to be installed. I have a guy that would do everything even the rack for 175 i think this is too much money.
**4 channel needs only the speak wires ran.
**Ground wire need to be ran
**2 channel just the RCA's need to be ran.
**and the rack

maybe i am being cheap about it but i feel as though i am giving up too much money for the job. Let me know what you think of this situation and if you have any advice i would greatly appreciate it

Also if you know anyone with a Kenwood (digital eq) faceplate, kenwood only have one digital equalizer for the car (i checked ebay already...don't really care for it) let me know also

I'm having a tough time deciding on what speakers to get. I need 2 sets of 5x7 or 6x8, and one of them is component. I've been looking at the Infinity kappa's the most, but also maybe polk, JL xr series(component), and kenwood excelon. Any feedback on these would be great.
