Get your ownership and vin number that you will find on the dash but you will to look through the windshield it's on a long aluminum plate that has a rivet at both end. That's your serial number and some states or provinces have them on the ownership.one you have that information ..get online to Ford and find a contact number to call should be a 1-800 number or just an e-mail you can contact them and give them the information and the type of stereo you have..should be written on the face of the stereo...i had to do the same twice..once with my Ford Windstar and once with a Chevy Malibu ..neither company gave me a hard time what so ever..and that should be the answer you are looking for..

The code should have been provided when it was installed (look at the instruction manual). If the unit is the stock model (came with the car when it was new) then you should contact the dealership. If neither of these are an option, do a web-search for the company that made the unit and contact their customer service.

while the battery went flat the radio could have started up a protection device. For each and all the battery knows the radio has been removed from the vehicle by way of a radio thief!! What you would be able to desire to do is take the vehicle decrease back on your close by broking, take your drivers licence and the V5 for the vehicle. they'll value approximately £15 to re-application the radio for you. Ja.

I used to work in a Ford dealership as a mechanic/technician, and this happened quite a lot.
Contact/visit your local Ford dealership, and supply them with you reg number and v.i.n. number... (this "vehicle identification number" will be in your logbook, or a friendly Ford technician will get it for you, if you take your car to them)
A quick look by them on their database will get your radio-code, assuming it is the original radio.
A small fee is usually charged.
Hope this helps!
P.S. DON'T just randomly put numbers into the radio, as this will lock the unit out, leading to complications!!!

take a look at the back of the unit. sometimes the installer writes the code on the back. Defeats the idea though

if this is a stero that you purchased then look at the packaging that it came in or check out the user manual

if it was allready in the car then the code should be in the car manual or in the log book
