I'm having a tough time deciding on what speakers to get. I need 2 sets of 5x7 or 6x8, and one of them is component. I've been looking at the Infinity kappa's the most, but also maybe polk, JL xr series(component), and kenwood excelon. Any feedback on these would be great.

I'm not going to talk up brand names, but my advice would be to consider building or buying adapters to let you install 6 1/2" speakers into your front door locations. The best component speakers are 6 1/2" and you'll find many more to choose from if you don't limit yourself to 6x8 components. Also, I'd budget most of your money to the front speakers; there's no reason to spend as much in the rear since those speakers contribute much less to your final sound stage. All you really need from the rear speakers is just a bit of fill-in to make your sound seem wider and more open. In some vehicles the front speakers are so small that the rears produce most of the bass, but that's not the case in your vehicle.

I agree with the adapters..
I've always liked Polk and Infinity, so you can pretty much let price drive your decision.
