I want sirius. I now have a stiletto 10, (portable sirius radio) If first of all, the truck does not have a deck. When buying one, do I get one that says sirius ready? or can I just get one with a input, so I can just plug in my potable sirius? What numbers do I look for on the Deck? (i will go to best buy, maybe ebay) I want a sub, nothing to loud, I am not a rap listener, I am heavy metal kinda guy, lol. I dont want to spend no more than $350.

You don't need "Sirius Ready" to use the Stiletto; just an auxiliary input. Sirius ready is for an add-on Sirius tuner that's controlled by the new head unit.

You won't find much difference in power ratings between different head units, but look for one with a subwoofer output so you can control your sub's volume.

If you don't need to be heard down the street plan on a single subwoofer, maybe a 10" or even an 8". That should allow you to build a box that will fit under the seat, and will cut down on the size of the amplifier you'll need to buy.

properly, seeing as you will take the bought kit to an audio keep to initiate with, there is no longer lots i will assert that they are going to consider. different persons constantly understand extra effective, in case you realize what I propose! Now, as you have already got a good, stable automobile, it would be a waste to lob a crapload of sound into it just to get it to pass loud. that's what i might advise: doors: Kenwood KFC-S502 5" chop up device Subs: JBL GT5-12 1100w 12" Subwoofers container: in good condition the each sub in a 50 litre container, or the two in a one hundred thirty litre twin container Ask the installer what amps they might advise, as i'm uncertain what's availabe interior the U. S.. additionally, in case you desire a good stereo to compliment the build, get a Kenwood KDC-MP5039U, it produces 24-bit sound, meaning astounding high quality. that's best upside is the fee of under $2 hundred. Oh and ask the installer to lob some dynamat interior the doors and under the floor carpets, as this might shrink outdoors noise and shop the bass the place that's going to be: interior your trip!
