Found this on the Pioneer FAQ site for the DEH-1500.... I guess a lot of people ask them this question.

SETTING THE CLOCK

How do I set the clock on my single CD player?

For most Pioneer single CD players, you can set the clock using the following steps:

1. Press and hold the SOURCE button until the unit turns off.
2. Press and hold the FUNCTION button, until display pops up, then release. (If you do not have a FUNCTION button, then push the AUDIO button)
3. Press the FUNCTION button again until the clock shows on the display.
4. Press the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hours.
5. Press the LEFT or RIGHT arrows to move to the minutes.
6. Press the UP and DOWN to adjust minutes.
7. When complete, press the SOURCE button to exit.

Hope this works for you!

I am assuming it is like all pioneers. press (and hold) the SRC button to turn off the deck and then go to the function menu. That was how it was for mine and several other pioneers that i have messed with. If it's not the function menu try the others, but I can say with 95% certainty that is how you do it.

Yeah you have to go to pioneer electronics and download the manual.
This is very important! Make sure you just download the section you need. I think it was like seven or eight pages in.
The manual is like 70 pages long.
I had the same problem with the exact model.
When using adobe you might be able to read it off the page so you don't need to download it. I had to download mines because just incase I needed to reset it again.

Well... I don't own one, but I found you the manual.

You'll have to register with Pioneer for a username and password real quick, but it should be worth it.
