you wouldnt want to do that. reason being is sinse the amp is a mono amp, its probably a sub amp. which means it will not put out high freqs. which means your speakers will only get sub freqs. which means you'll probably end up blowing them. so you can it do, but i really really wouldnt recomend it.

Metalman56 lined it especially good. as a count of certainty without sub, you will no longer have a automobile which will "shake with song and bass" . so which you desire a sub. as for 3 way vs 4 way, that's a decision and you will possibly be able to desire to take heed to them, its kinda like asking that's extra effective the purple automobile or the blue one... in case you're actually after sound high quality, i might advise getting a around speaker for the 4 significant audio device. in the adventure that your modern audio device are 6x9 there are adaptor plates available at a good automobile audio shop to in good condition a 6 a million/2" around in that area. a 6x9 will provide extra bass yet sound worse than a 6 a million/2" however the shortcoming of bass is a non difficulty while further a sub, because of the fact the bass frequencies would be "decrease off" from the mains besides, and redirected to the sub. in case you desire to initiate off slow i might get a 4 channel amp, a sub and 2 latest audio device up front, i recomend slightly set with a seperate woofer and tweeter. with those factors you will possibly makes use of the deck to capacity the rear production unit audio device, then 2 of the channels to capacity the recent front audio device and the different 2 channels might bridge to capacity the sub. this might provide complete frequency sound at the cheap fee. in case you desperate to characteristic extra capacity and extra volume, all factors might nevertheless be usable, purely purchase 2 new audio device for the back and capacity all audio device with the 4 channel amp, then upload a sparkling mono amp for the sub. in case you pass this course, purely be sure the sub can carry lots of capacity for a destiny improve. i might seem right into a 50x4 as much as a seventy 5 x 4 amp, and around a 4 hundred-six hundred watt sub. this may be an surprising device without significant electric powered device advancements.

to bride a amp first make sure that the amp is bridgeable and then use the positive from 1 channel and the negative from the other this will make the sub use all the amp's power enjoy

depends how many channels your amp is. 2 channels means 2 speakers. Unless you bridge to channels to run a sub or subs, depends if your amp is capable of that. I would need to know more to help you.

no it isnt because normal speakers use 2 or 3 way sound. subs use mono tone sound. to run a sub you need a low pass filter i.e only bass.

metallman56 is spot on.

Scott L,

Two channels doesn't HAVE to be two speakers, it can be more or less (if bridgeable).
