Car Audio

They are both 4 way 6x8 speakers but which one is better. They pretty much have the same things, rms and max power is the same. But one is pioneer and one is pioneer premier. Which should i get?

I had an aftermarket unit installed in order to add an auxiliary input into my 2004 Mazda 3. If I connect my MP3 player to it, it sounds fine. However, when I connect a satellite radio, I pick up a lot of background noise that is in sync with the RPM of the engine. How can I eliminate this noise? I had the aux. input installed to create a clean connection between the factory radio & my MP3 player or sat. radio, but now my satellite radio sounds worse rather than better.

It's a 1994 Plimmoth Voyager. One day the radio worked, the next day it didn't. It's not the fuse, The tape dec turns, but there's no lights for the radio or the clock. what else could be the problem? Would really appriciate help, thanks.

i recently asked a question about running 2 kicker 15 in cvx subs to one 1500 watt mono amp.. its only a 1 channel amp. i asked if it would run those subs right by wiring both subs into that one channel.. everyone said it would work but some said i have to wire it a certain way... HOW would i wire my speaker wire from the subs to my amp without hurting anything?????????????????????

I swear I've heard of these but I have no idea what they are called.

I've found other adapters online but can't seem to locate this type. All I need is to plug in a normal 2 prong cord, does anyone have any idea what these would be called and where I can get them?

Heres what Ive got kenwood kdc-4032 head unit pair of kicker ks525 2-way speakers in front doors hooked up to alpine-3522 2-channel amp this is a real old amp but works fine not sure of how much power it has kenwood kac-x812d mono sub amp with two alpine swe-1242 subs in a sealed box

I have an amplifier in my truck, and when the truck is running and the amplifier is on there is a high-pitched whining noise being emmitted from the amplified speakers that follows the pitch of the engine. When the truck is off, it sounds fine. Are there any devices that can plug into the incoming wires to reduce the noise?

i have a vauxhall astra and have setup a subwoofer in the boot, i got it all wired in except the main cable from the battery to the amp, through a fuse. but i cant find a hole which goes from the engine bay area into the footwells ?

anyone know where it is ?

I own a '04 BMW 325xi with the harman kardon speakers...but im looking to beef up my bass....I'm leaning towards either getting two (12 inch) Infinity 1252W's or two (10 inch) Alpine SWR-1042D's put in the back...what kind of amplifier would i need to get? someone told me that it should be 'bridgeable'...will i need to get a capacitor? another car battery? thank you for your help in advance.

ps- im looking for nice, clean, bass....i want sound quality, not just loudness. =)

I am trying to connect the xm radio sureconnect wire to my glass antenna on my 2004 4runner. It says it is on the rear window but all I seem to see is the same lines which i believe to be the defogger. I see no open ended lines. Where do I attached the point for the sureconnect?

im looking at an 06 Kicker ZX1500.1 Mono amplifier Class-D Subwoofer amp.. its rated at 1500 watts at 2 ohms. my question is would this run 2 15 inch CVX kicker subs which are rated at 1000 watts a piece.. would i be able to run both of these subs throught that one amp which is only one channel?????

PLease help. I was given a Garmin Navigation device. It worked at first, until it needed to be charged and now it will not charge, so now I can not turn it on, no power. There is power at the cig. lighter source, and I did check the fuse in the power cord.
It's the Garmin C230.
Is there an addition plug in device into the side of the
Garmin for it to charge?

It was a used vehicle, year 2000 but the whole centre panel and tape player isn't working, no power getting to it at all! Does anyone know is this a big problem or not?? Can't get clock or anything to work! Love the little car but need some music!! Was hoping it was just a fuse or something but need some advise, can anyone help??
