take it back to the place you bought it. if not, then you will have to take it to a mechanic and see if they can fix it. the toyota dealership will be the most expensive too.

One easy fix. Fuse. It's either located in the driver's area cockpit, or by the battery in the engine compartment. If not there, even if it's used, the Toyota has a 7 year/70,000 mile warranty. Yaris was made in 06. You sure it's a Yaris? regardless, fuse it, if not, warranty. If not warranty, take it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it.

I think you will find that the battery has been disconnected at some time. you will need to contact the previous owner to get the four digit code to unlock the stereo. It stops working when disconnected to stop people stealing it from the car

well,

check the fuse panel to see if the fuse is blown

if it is ok - look to see if there is also an "inline" one; especially if it is aftermarket unit

gee, my 2000 saturn still runs really great.

Private sale ??? Bought as seen???? Will have to get it fixed yourself, sounds like something electric has gone, what else isnt working - check heater etc. If garage bought, take it back and complain.

Toyota didn't make the Yaris in 2000. Are you sure you have a Yaris?
