Heres what Ive got kenwood kdc-4032 head unit pair of kicker ks525 2-way speakers in front doors hooked up to alpine-3522 2-channel amp this is a real old amp but works fine not sure of how much power it has kenwood kac-x812d mono sub amp with two alpine swe-1242 subs in a sealed box

Here is a good way to be able to answer your own question without listening to other's opinions.

Does the system sound good? (at least to you)
Does the system work reliably?

If all the wire connections are secure and you're satisfied with the system, there's no need to spend extra money replacing what isn't broken. Keep in mind that you have name brand equipment which means it'll probably last a long time

+1 if it sounds good to you stick with it. Im not a fan of Kicker. Your best improvment would be an upgrade to the front speakers. I'm a Focal or MB Quart fan. You find those at private stereo shops. Big box stores like Circuit City. Wont carry anything with that quality.

Then again its just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions

if it sounds good to you thats really all that matters. i'm not a fan of kicker or alpine, so to me, i wouldnt like it. if you like Kenwood, look into there Excelon line. its a lot better then anything you have right now.
