i know that you can buy a splitter, and run your radio and CB radio from a CB antenna, but will it work as well as having two separate ones?

When I switch it on it doesnt remember the stations aven though I store them. Also the cd player starts at track 1 every time I swithch it on. I heard if you swap red and yellow or red and black this solves it. does anyone know exactly what you do??

I have a 1997 Nissan Pulsar LX Sedan. Im going to get a system for it tomorrow, but im not shure what size the front and rear speakers are.

I think the back speakers are 6", but i only found out by popping the boot and looking at the holes in the top metal frame. (THERE ARE NO HOLES IN THE BACK WOOD THINGY WHERE THE SPEAKERS SHOULD SIT?.. wierd.

Wouldnt have a clue of the size of the front ones. Please guyz and girl. I need quick help or reccomend a good site for this. Thanks.

I recently installed a new cd player in my 98 Cavalier. I have had a system for sometime now, 1000 watt amp with two MTX Thunder 8000 12' subs. The system & everything worked fine with the old cd player, but with this one, the amp kicks off if I barely even turn the volume up.. What could be the reason?

My main question, however, is, when I listen to it, even without the amp & system turned on, I hear a very loud thumping noise when I hit my breaks, which sounds like it is coming through the speakers, as weird as that sounds. This seems very odd to me, I have no idea what is going on unless it is something with my ground-wire for the cd player... Can someone help me out?

I have two weak amplifiers but two good speakers for my truck. Of course, if I use only one amp to power both Subwoofers the sound quality wouldn't be great. Can I power my subs with both amplifiers.

i make a cd and get into my car and it doesnt work then i have to make another one and that one doesnt work. my cd player is fine. i dont know why out of a pack of 30 cdr's, about 7 are bad.

I recently sold my car which had the Delphi unit for XM radio. I purchased a new car and had installed (professionally) the Audiovox Xpress Roadie. The sound quality is terrible, lots of static and noise. I'm taking it back to the store to get another device, any recomendations?? I'm desperate because I love XM but am getting frustrated.

i ordered a 2 channel 4000 watt amp that puts out RMS of 500w x 2 @ 4 ohms, i also ordered 2 Kicker 15 inch 4 ohm subwoofers with a peak power of 1000 watts and an RMS rating of 500 watts @ 4 ohms. I dont know much about this stuff but that seems to add up but the 4000 watt amp worries me. Should it? And, probably another stupid question but i should get an amp wiring kit that is rated a 4000W, right?
