I have a 6 disc CD player, and as I was ejecting a disc It stopped moving and gives me an error message.

if it is a factory cd player than you should hav it serviced at your car's dealer because they can replace it with new factory components

The same exact thing happened to me in my Dodge Stratus RT 5 disk changer... I pressed eject for the particular disk compartment and acted like I was putting another cd in. When I done that, the other disk came out almost as soon as I began sticking the previous cd in.

ok i had to jump start my car this winter now my 6cd player say's no disc when i try to play or eject ,i did the battery thing but still not working ,i can hear it switching from slot to slot so it has power to it
