I fitted a new ministery of sound cd player in my car but it comes up with (error 01) code when i try to play cds. What does this code mean

Most likely a problem with reading the disc. Also could be a malfunction with the reading lazer itself.
Word of advise, ministry of sound are awesome with club nights but not so good with developing technology, a lot of their products are renowned for breaking.

Found answer on Google search. Error code 6 means that the laser is not reading the disc and you need to replace the pick up laser assy.

it usually means there is no data on the cd. it happens a lot on burned cds if you didn't complete the burning process.
