I couldnt get really excited because i just knew something was going to go wrong. The finance guy even told me to get excited but i couldnt let myself enjoy my first purchase. It was really stressful. Getting a great insurance quote was a ***** because I was "a new driver". I still can't get used to the fact that I have a car now. I've only been driving for 4 months. Anyone else feel/felt the same way?

I want to buy an SUV or truck that I can daily drive, then put my motorcycle in the back when I want to go to the track or the mountains. I kind of would prefer an SUV so I can throw other stuff in the back that shouldn't get wet when it rains(like people). I'm a college student so I don't have a whole lot of money so I was going to buy used.

I found a '96 4dr blazer for sale with 170k miles and 70k miles on the engine for $2500. I'm don't think I would give him his asking price unless it turns out to look really clean and drives really nice. I also don't know if the blazer will carry the motorcycle (can't find the length of the back with the seats out and the height of the hatch).

anyway, I'm not in much of a rush to buy anything so I will sit around for a good deal. Are there any SUVs I should be taking a special notice to? once again, I'm not apposed to trucks, any trucks I should be looking at?

thanks in advance for the input.

I need to sell my car but I still owe money on it, I need the title to be able to sell it to someone but the bank still has a lien on the car because the loan is not paid off, I need to sell the car, pay the loan without having to borrow money to pay it off before selling it, has anyone had a similar issue?

I have a car that fails to pass smog due to a transmission conversion. I'm wondering if I can legally sell the car and transfer the title "as-is" without having to smog it for the buyer.

2003 honda accord, EX, V6. Coupe. Graphite Grey
75K miles, every option possible, navigation system with over 180 voice activated commands. Perfect black leather interior, one small dent on the outside the size of a golf ball, You wouldnt see it unless i pointed it out. I want to sell to a private party instead of just trading it in. How much is it worth, kelly blue book says around $14,500 I think thats a little low, the MSRP was 26,500 when I bought it.

I am looking at purchasing a preowned Mercedes S430 and there is inventory at both licensed dealers, as well as at independent dealers throughout the Los Angeles area. Ultimately I would prefer to go through a licensed dealer, but the deals are much better with an independent. Is there much more risk associated with an independent? If I have a mechanic evaluate the car from an independent dealer, am I buying with confidence, or with my fingers crossed? What should I look for in an independent if I go there? Or, what do I get by going with a licensed MB dealer? Many Thanks!

I egreed to make my past due payments but they did not wait for me. They went home and took the truck in a very old towed truck that had no power to lift my truck. I agreed to give them the key. They gave me a phone number that is disconected so I do not know what to do now.

I'm getting divorced and I have a problem with the cars my husband and I had. He bought me a car (it's financed under his name) and I bought him a truck (it's financed under my name). My car is almost paid off, the payments are only about $150 a month which I could totally afford on my own now. The truck is new and have only paid about $4K off on it and it's a $19K payoff. The monthly payments are $500! I CANNOT afford to take the truck back. If I take it back to the dealer where I bought it and turn it in, how much will I get back? What happens? I'll have to trade it back in to get a new car ASAP (I won't have time to privately sell it). Can someone please explain to me what will happen? Also, I am BROKE right now and can't afford to have to put a down on a new car and my credit isn't good. Will that matter since I'm trading in? Please help!!! You can IM me at TucKitty820 on AIM. THANKS!

I am selling a car for $24,000. This is the offer I received. What do you think?
------

" I have forwarded your vehicle information to my client and after evaluation and due to time constraint on the fact that we are running short of time. I'm delighted to tell you that my client has recommended your vehicle, with full interest and he has instructed me to carry on with his transaction,he hopes the engine is serviced and oil changed too .He cant wait to see the car parked in his garage.
However,My client made out a certified cashiers check of($33,000) before he travelled to germany for death of his daughter ,for a previous car and its shipment charges etc,but it was unfortunately sold. The amount on the check he deposited for the car is bigger than what should be paid to you now, so the check is now meant for the total expenses which includes the purchase of your car,the pick up of the car from its present location and the shipping charges/other necessary shipping arrangements. However he has instructed us to carry on with this transaction. So you're required to deduct the cost of your car ($24,000)and send the balance of($9,000) to the Agent ( our shipper ) for him to be able to offset shipping & tax charges, and other cosmetic repair costs. After payment has reached you and balance sent to shipper, the shipper's agent will come for inspection, pick up (of vehicle & signing of title papers), make some cosmetic touches and drive to a prepaid shipper to be shipped to my customer.and also conclude other necessary shipping arrangements.so you dont have to bother yourself about the pick up and shipping arrangements.
Please Confirm this and provide name, address and phone number for check payment to be delivered to you via fedex courier .
Thanks and God bless.
Regards,
FRIEDEL PARKER
