Im interested in the new Ford Ikon Flair(1.3). It has got good looks and seems good value for money with competitive pricing. No other car in that segment offers so many featurs in that price. But have heard some not so good feedback about the car ranging from high maintenance/costly spares/low mileage/old technology/ etc etc. Esteem and Indigo are not that good. I can upgrade to Accent GLE which is about 50K more, but it has some basic features like central locking etc missing though it has 1.5 litre engine. But am confused if it is worth buying. My budget is 5.0-5.5 lakhs. Any suggestions.

Well after I pay this car off my next car in the future I'm just paying cash instead of a car note not my thing. So do anyone believe in paying for cash for a car or just get a car note?

Just like buying a new play station or a plasma tv are not investments. Investments will have returns, but these purchases don't.

I recently heard that Ford is an example of bad financing, I wonder how true that is. If there is anyone out there who knows for sure, please give me the answer.

I am looking at the Ford Ranger and the Dodge Ram, and can't make up my mind. I want a quad cab, (four doors), automatic with okay towing capacity and large enough truck bed. What do you all think?

As a private individual as opposed to a business company, am I better off to purchase a brand new or nearly new car or go for private contract leasing? I want a Nissan X-Trail Columbia diesel 4x4, 10k miles per annum, for 3 years. Quotes so far seem awfully cheap which make me suspicious. However, when purchasing, depreciation is a major factor.

I was wondering if a 1999 Nissan Altima GXE is a good car for a brand new driver. The car has 130K miles on it, and runs smooth. Will this car last me at least 3 years if I take care of it properly????

Hi,
I am looking to buy a reasonablly "new" used car. I am wondering what people think of cars offerred by Hertz, Enterprise and alike.

Some people say renters often abuse the rental cars; but others counter that rental companies take good care of their cars to achieve efficiency and reduce liability.

What do you think?

thanks in advance,
Jeopardy.

We just bought a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Classic. We took it to a body shop to be looked at and checked out, and was told it had been wrecked. But, they did a pretty good job fixing it. I would like to know what the laws are on this.

How thorough are they in checking for your employment and salary? Do they require you to fax your paycheck stubs or anything else?

And can you use the check to buy from a new car dealership instead of eBay?
