excellent. i have been driving an indigo for the past one year and am extremely well. acceleration is maximum at the high end of the rpm range. there absolutely no turbo lag and once the turbo is on, there is non-stop power delivery.
the time lag before the torbo boost, inclines u to press to the red line, which gives a sporty feel to the overall performance of the car

Tata cars are supposed to be good for the mileage they offer especially the Indica. U might see a lot of taxi indica cabs. Thats coz of the mileage. Go in for a tata indigo only if ur priority is mileage. Performance too is quite good. There are alot of cars coming next year. Wait for sometime as tata would soon introduce CRDI engines.

I test drove a car at the local showroom. it had not been serviced in a few months, not even a simple oil change. The vehicle felt a little sluggish initially without smooth delivery, but once you rev it a little bit and get into 3rd gear it is fantastic. there is a lot of torque to play with.
The suspension is awesome too, though I would complain that it is a little bouncy. There are a lot of rough edges but If you are looking for an entry-level 3 box sedan, this is easily the best buy. it comes at a slightly higher price than a petrol Getz. I personally liked the Marina even more.
