I have found a 1994 Saturn with 195k miles for $1500, and he said it uses a little oil. He also said that he would trust it to go anywhere....should I risk it?

Besides Autotrader and Yahoo. I need a good used car around $4,000 with not too many miles since it looks like my car is going to be totalled.

I'm going to try this question again in hopes to get an answer that is closer to what I'm looking for. Thanks to those who replied to previous question.

I am looking to hear from people who have actually leased a car themselves or know of an experience of friend or family. When you brought the car back, planning to walk away and not purchase the car, what extra costs (if any) did the leasing company hit you with? Did they nitpick small stuff? Did you walk away and owe nothing? How long did it take for them to inspect the car, etc??? Any siginificant negative or positive experience to share? Lastly, did you lease again???

Thanks!!

I have a car loan through my credit union for the amount of $13,500 for 36 months. I had a co-signer. Our combined FICO scores got us an interest rate of 5.15%. My FICO score was about 671 at the time and his was almost perfect. My credit was good, but just insufficient, being that I was barely turning 21 at the time of the loan. It has been a little over a year now. I have made every payment on time. How will this affect my credit? I know by making on time payments it helps your credit, but when does this benefit kick in? Will my credit score improve gradually every month I make a payment? Or does my credit not improve until my entire loan is repayed? Any idea how much this will improve my FICO score?

I'm so confused on this whole eBay thing...I'm think of placing a bid for a vehicle, but I don't understand why they'd start bidding so low?! Is that the only price I have to pay? What about tax, title and license? And if I do pay for tt and l, how do I find out how much that's going to be?

Ok, heres the deal. I am 16 and I think I was born to be a car salesman..(I know.. weird) but I know everything about cars and selling them. I don't want to do this as a career my whole life though, I just want to do it while i'm in high school. Do you think anyone would actually hire me, being 16? Are there any car salesmen out there that have any advise for me? And I know for a fact that I don't want to do this my whole life because it just doesn't pay good enough and I really want to be a buisnessman or something like that. HELP PLEASE! I really want to apply at a car dealership but I think they will laugh at me. If there is anyone that could sell cars.. it would be me. I really hope someone can answer these questions. Thanks in advance.

I am leasing a car for the first time - a 2006 Nissan Altima. I am nervous about being hit for all sorts of costs, etc.... after the lease is up. I take excellent care of my cars, but I have heard that some leasing companies can be very nit picky.

Please share your positive or negative experience and hopefully help to put my mind at ease.

Have a car I'd like to trade in (paid older car), but a few years back I got a personal loan and used my car as collateral. Can I trade my car in? Will the dealership pay my lein off and maybe add it to the new car? The loan was $1500 and I don't have the money to pay the loan off in full (it's in default)

Move over Ford, Chrysler and GMC and all the imports. There's a new bad boy in town and he plans to kick some serious butt. Hint: The car is named after the man who gave us the intellectual knowledge that created the entire electrical industrial base we have today, driving the engines of the 21st Century.

Would you recommend the Mercedes-Benz C230, BMW 325i, or Audi A4?

I have saved up $13,000 myself, and I would make payments on the rest with the money I earn with my "nicely paying" job.

What do you say?

I want to buy a pickup because of the versalitility and they are really fun to have and drive. But with a car they get better gas mileage and go faster. What would be a good choice to buy. ALso i dont care about paying for gas. As long as i like driving it, i am fine.

It has a really bent frame and even if it is fixed it would takeand extensive amount of time and money. It also will have a salviged title because of the frame. The inside is still in pretty good condition, black automatic with leather seats, sunroof, and seat warmers. I got an offer for $1,000 which seemed good, but the guy never showed up. Would I make more money selling it for parts, or selling it in it's current condition? Keep in mind I don't know how to part it out myslef so I would have to hire someone to do it and pay them for their time.
