Do most people look to buy used cars in the winter, spring, summer or fall? Thanks!

Right after income tax time. Alot of people, especially parents and college students are using that little extra money for reliable transportation.

This is a tough question. really, it depends on the make and model of the vehicle. right now? any time is a good time to sell your car if its good on fuel. its its a high performance sports car or a convertible or something, of course summer is going to be the best time. People dont buy cars in the winter, just look at your average car dealership, their sales plummet during the winter months. a dealer could move 20 in a month during the winter, and in the summer move 400. theres nothing better than driving around in your shiny new car with the windows down and the wind in your hair, haha, keep that in mind.

In the fall, because people will be looking for a car in the fall to drive in the winter.

It all depends on what kind of car you have... If it's a convertible... you could sell if for more at the beginning of the summer. If it's 4wd, you could sell if for more at the beginning of winter. If it is just a normal car... The end of May would be good, as graduation time is coming up.

if you live in or near a college town, august and september would be a good time....even if you don't, i think august still, when kids are going to college n need their own car.

i would think xmas season.....people are looking to buy cars as gifts and may not be able to afford a brand new car
