I work at a summer camp and on one of the sailboats the halyard (the rope that pulls up the sail) came completely out of the mast. It's a laser sailboat. I need to know how to rethread the rope through the mast. Please help, we just got the boat donated to us a few weeks ago.

I am looking to get a private plate and want to have scotland flag on it along with some writing along the bottom. I know you can have the GB flag (eu type thing) but can i legally have the scotland one?

This is an electric motor in a pontoon boat. The motor won't run. I've done a load test on the batteries and they seem fine. I'm going to do a voltage drop test tomorrow. The manufacture, Duffy, won't help because my shop is not a dealer, and they only work with dealers.
If anyone knows some basic electric motor troubleshooting tests that might help me diagnose this motor I'd like to hear some suggestions. This is my first electric motor and I'm kinda lost. I have no wire diagrams or anything else to guide me. I've spent a few minutes doing some simple internet searches and haven't found anything too helpful.

Before pulling the boat out , one side of the trailer lights were hanging down and broken. The other side was working good. Went to store for a new bulb and the lights still do not work. Need to fix this cause I have a oil leak on the outdrive.

I had it runinng up on plain for a period of time and then shut it down starting would becomes extremely difficult. It eventually starts up. Can it be a problem with the choke?

Due to a small garage I have to settle for a small 17ft boat, but
I would like to have something that my family can enjoy. My wife and 3 boys.

One 12V auto battery starts our boats Volvo Penta inboard motor, but when i try to connect anouter 12V battery in parallel to the first, and the key is turned, all lights on the dash go out as if the battery is disconnected... after returning the set-up to the original one battery configuration, the engine starts normally with the key... ???

My 1965 merc 500 runs great. When I take it out, about 20 minutes later just sitting on the trailer, a little lower unit grease leaks out of the lower unit. I think it is coming from the little nipple place where you change the lube. There is no cap on it. Is there something greatly wrong with my engine, or do I just need a new cap? Thanks
