While traveling home from Ocean City, MD we were on a stretch of highway - and I honestly forget if it was in DE or MD - where there were signs stating "Headlight Use Required." You can see photo I took at http://www.hail2pitt.org/blogs/index.php?blog=1&title=headlight_use_required

What's the background, enforceability and do my DRL's count as "headlights?"

The transmission oil sales in the store are under 10 bucks, but the oil change services in average charged 100 bucks. Is it a complicate job to do it?

Daughter was in car accident with a few injuries. Not her fault. A lady run a stop sign. Are we to accept only the money offered to cover the vehicle that was lost, or do we get to ask for a certain amount. Being told they will pay current market value of truck but if not enough to pay loan we are responsible for balance. Shouldn't the person at fault be responsible for that balance? How about loss of wages? What about getting another vehicle to replace the one we lost? I think the person at fault should pay for everything. I need guidance, please.

I have a 2001 Subaru Forester. I change the oil every 3000 miles even though I use a full synthetic. I do the same with my Toyota Corolla. The used oil from the Corolla (85,000 miles) is always clear amber, and looks good enough to re-use. The used oil from the Sube is dark, nearly opaque, nearly black. It's been that way since day one. The car has only 45,000 miles on it. The mechanic explains the difference by saying that "Subarus just burn that way." The car runs excellently, but I wonder if something is wrong. BTW, the air filter is changed every year.

These are firestone tires, and from what I remember, they have had a lot of tires split, or come apart in some way. Another tire on the vehicle looks like it is going to split and/or come apart soon also. These tires were/are on the front of the vehicle. What is the reason for purchasing road hazard/ tire protection repair/replacement, if it's still gonna cost the consumer just about the same he/she originally paid if the tire needs replacing? Seems to me these retailers are getting over big on us consumers. I did e-mail Firestone concerning my problem, it will be interesting to see the outcome of this. Tires were purchased on 02/05, this is 08/06 and the vehicle has been driven 17,223 miles since the tires were put on the vehicle. Seems the Firestone associates don't and/or won't acknowledge the tire is/was/are faulty. The associate I dealt with originally said it was the car' fault, then he said the tire was overinflated, then he said it was because they hadn't been rotated.

I have an 2005 Road King and want to convert. Actually my mind is made up. The shop said it can be done. He said however more dirt will be thrown around under the saddlebags. Somebody I know said the chain and sprockets will wear out every 20,000 miles. I don't believe that, I know with a little maintanance it will go a LOT longer.

There is this jeep that doesn't have front doors at my appartment complex, and it is supposed to have doors if the guy didn't mess with it. Is it illegal to take off your front car doors and drive in it? I think it is stupid no matter what, but I was just wondering.

I seen people with lowriders have this "special" types of extra batterys in the trunk, and i have seen people use things like the BATCAP 400 in the back . But is it possible to use a normal battery that u find in Sears for ur Amplifier and Subwoofers ??... i know u can run the amp cable to ur battery in the trunk , but i don't want to drain my battery. So i was just wondering could i just buy a second normal battery n place it in the back. WIll it work ?
