There is this jeep that doesn't have front doors at my appartment complex, and it is supposed to have doors if the guy didn't mess with it. Is it illegal to take off your front car doors and drive in it? I think it is stupid no matter what, but I was just wondering.

If it were illegal why would they make the doors removable? No it's not as long as you still have at least the driver side mirror on the vehicle.
Hey Blueman what's your issue with JEEPS? Is it because you don't own one? I always had my doors off mine from the beginning of March until the end of Sept. no matter what the weather.

The Jeep was designed to have the doors either on or off. Your talking about a vehicle you can use a garden house to clean out the passenger compartment. So yes they can take the doors off and the top. It is still street legal.

Depends upon the state, but in most no it's not illegal, as long as it's the jeep wranglers.. I see it a lot during the summer.

Jeeps just don't look right with doors. If I had a jeep, I would toss the doors.

I believe most states have a requirement that there be some sort of restraining device such as a bar or strap in that opening.
Maybe not now that seatbelt usage is mandatory.....
